THEATRE: THE GRIMSTONESPLEASANTLY eerie marionette puppets are used to tell the story of Martha Grimstone, who can read dreams and wants more than anything to find out the truth about why her father disappeared in The Grimstones Mortimer Revealed. The series of Grimstones gothic fairytales, created and performed by Asphyxia, use sign language, giant books and music to tell quirky tales about acceptance, love and family. The film, (45 minutes long), is structured around the re-enactment of the 19th-century discovery of a cache of 40 mummies. Children will enjoy the real-life Indiana Jones aspect of this historical adventure as the golden sarcophagi of these kings of Egypt, including the magnificent arrangements made for Ramses the Great, seem to jump out from the screen.
