Paul Potts is an opera singer who shot to fame after winning Britain's Got Talent produced by ITV. Paul Potts is an unassuming former car phone warehouse manager who stunned the judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, and Amanda Holden with his condensed version of Giacomo Puccini's "Nessun Dorma".
Paul Potts portrayed a humble demeanor and it was no surprise after witnessing his performances throughout the series that he claimed the majority of votes to win the competition.

Paul Potts was signed by the show's creator and judge Simon Cowell to record an album called One Chance. The album was released in the UK on July 16, 2007 and on July 22 had claimed the number one spot on the BBC's Top 40 Album chart where it stayed for three successive weeks. The album is currently number one in Australia on the Top 50 Albums chart.
